VS Angel and hot mom Adriana Lima brings a little quote today:

“I was really worried, I did gain a lot of weight – let’s say more than 25 pounds. I ate whatever I wanted – my daughter was my first priority. I tried to keep her healthy, eat healthily, and exercise but not too much. I did light walks and things like that. My first advice is not to eat sugar and oil – that will help a lot. But if you get stressed about it, it is not good for you and you won’t lose weight. Even if you are working out and you’re on a diet, you are not going to lose weight.”

A while ago, Adriana Lima told us that she went on a liquid diet, followed by a protein diet to lose the baby weight. That sounded pretty strict, so it’s good to know that these days, Adriana also incorporates occasional treats in her diet (but continues to work out hard):

On eating candy:

I need the energy. I work out a lot, I work out every day. I do jumping rope and boxing. Per day, I use 1000 calories. So I do need to eat a lot and have all that protein, all the shakes, in my system. And I need a little candy! Now it’s gonna get more intense. I go there every day for an hour and a half!

On her gym routine:

AL: I do jumping rope, I do shadowboxing. I do boxing. I do a little abs, and little squats. I don’t use any weights at all. Everything I do is with the body, your own weight. The only thing I may use is a jumping rope.

Tending to her pre-Fashion Show press duties, Adriana Lima was spotted looking fabulous in New York City on Wednesday (October 20).



The Brazilian beauty revealed the Bombshell Fantasy Bra designed by Damiani exclusively for Victoria's Secret while situated at the Victoria's Secret shop in Herald Square.

As for the pricey undergarment, this year's creation features "clusters of white diamonds, topaz and sapphires with bedazzled straps atop a blushy gauze push-up bra," according to People reports.



The shimmering masterpiece ended up with 142 carats of jewelry comprised of 60 carats of white diamonds and 82 carats of topazes and sapphires - which brings the pricetag to a cool $2 million.  (Hollywood Gossip)
