Nothing But THE VOICE

NBC has just released it's advertisement for the Voice.

The Network taps Carson Daly (that guy from MTV) to host the new reality show. 
With experienced artists as coaches, whom Daly has referred to as"the best in the business looking for the next best," the new talent show offers something new... and it's pretty weird.

The one minute ad boasts of a "blind audition" wherein Christina Aguillera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, sit in a big red couch facing the audience and choose who'll go through with the auditions based solely on their "voice." Hmm.


The now controversial Aguilera points out in the commercial, "You have to concentrate on nothing but the voice...I love that it's based purely on their voice."
It's common knowledge that given the artist's beautiful voice, "looks" are quite important too. Someone who has the "total package" is what producers are looking for, right. I think American Idol and Cowell's the X-Factor live with that principle.


The way i see it,  it's a new show so they have to come up with something crazy just to make a difference. Adam Levine closes the ad by saying "'Cause a great voice, is a great voice, is a great voice...is a great voice"


The Voice premiers April 26 on NBC.

Cee Lo Green F**ks the Charts.

Swearing has never been this exciting for those who appreciate the "different" levels of musical artistry.

"F**k You (Forget You)" is now on its 27th week on Billboard Hot 100. We'll see if Green's f**k-ing would cum for the top spot next week.

 Thomas DeCarlo Callaway a.k.a Cee Lo Green, singer and record producer, is best known for his collaboration with the R&B Duo Gnarls Barkley. The single "Crazy" which was released in 2006 was a success.  Green, taking a break from recording with Barkley, released  his own single on August 2010. Since then, his anti-gold-digger "honest" track that swears almost every ten seconds has f**c-ed the charts.
