Denise Richards Gunning for Real Housewives – admits Charlie Sheen’s Troubles ‘no surprise’
For reasons that would puzzle anyone capable of coherent thought, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills attracts almost 3.5-million viewers. But after being married Charlie Sheen for three years,
Denise Richards says she’d like her next career to be on that show.
While visiting New York on Wednesday for the ‘Indashio’ fashion show the 40-year old actress was asked if she’d like to be part of the cast;
“Heck, yeah; I would! It’s one of my favorite shows!” she answered keenly. Asked for her favorites among the cast,
Denise Richards had their names memorized;
“I have two,” she tells Us. “Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards.”
For those who could care less, British-born Lisa is a 50-year old restaurateur and aspiring actress, while 42-year old Kyle had a walk-on role in ER and is also the aunt of Paris Hilton.
And while she waits for the casting director to call,
Denise Richards says she’s protecting daughters Sam, age 6, and 5-year old Lola from their dad’s latest fun and games;
“We’re keeping it positive for them,” she told Us. “They’re really doing well. They’re still young, and they’re full of energy and everyone is really doing well.
But in a segment of ‘The View’ which airs next Friday,
Denise Richards tells Barbara Walters the latest scandal came as no surprise to her;
“No, I mean it doesn’t. This is Charlie’s lifestyle,” she says. “There are times where his life is more colorful than others, and as the kids get older it’s a difficult thing.”
After being rushed to the ER following a three-day celebration of booze, drugs and porn-stars at the end of last month, Chuck’s now doing rehab at home. This has left ‘Two and a Half Men’ in limbo, but the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre still found some fun in the case;
“I exercise regularly. I eat moderate amounts of healthy food. I make sure to get plenty of rest. I see my doctor once a year and my dentist twice a year,” he told reporters this week. “I floss every night. I’ve had chest x-rays, cardio stress tests, EKG’s and colonoscopies. I see a psychologist and have a variety of hobbies to reduce stress. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I don’t do drugs. I don’t have crazy, reckless sex with strangers.”
….If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I’m gonna be really pissed.”
