Jessica Simpson and her husband-to-be Eric Johnson haven't set a wedding date yet, but it's no secret that the bubbly blonde is on the hunt for the perfect wedding gown. The singer says her dress will be "beautiful" (duh!) and probably low-cut.

"It's definitely going to be beautiful," the singer said (via People.com). "I want it to be different from what I've had before. I have a lot of tear sheets!"

She said she'll start worrying about the rest of the details of their wedding, like where and when, as soon as she settles the dress ordeal. "Once I get what I want my dress to look like we'll set a date," she said, adding it will "definitely be somewhere warm!"

Jess sounds like she has a pretty good idea of what she wants though she hasn't found THE dress. The "top-heavy" star says she leans towards V-neck or scoop necks and likes to show off her neck.

"I like my collar bone," she added. "I have a long neck, so I like to show off my décolletage."

As for color, she hasn't gotten that far: "I haven't really thought about it," she admitted. "I do like the romantic feel of a lighter color."

Jess is having her "Carrie Bradshaw moment" trying on gowns and her bridesmaids will have to do their own dress selection too! "I definitely would want all my bridesmaids to be in everything different," she said. "Just [to reflect] what their personalities are.”

Ever since Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson announced their engagement, there have been constant rumors about the difference in their bank accounts, and what, if anything, Jessica was going to do to protect her assets from Eric’s potentially gold-digging ways. There have been mixed signals, but I believe that the last we heard, Joe Simpson and Jessica were in agreement that she would definitely need a pre-nup to protect her billion-dollar empire. And now Star Magazine has the alleged details:

Money talks before Jessica Simpson walks - down the aisle, that is! Her ultra-hands-on dad, Joe Simpson, is making sure Jess’s $1 billion fashion empire will be preserved after she weds her fiancé, ex pro football player Eric Johnson - and Star has the details of the iron-clad prenup Joe has in the works with his attourneys.

“Eric is on what you might call a vesting plan,” an insider tells Star. “He’ll get $500,000 as a wedding present. Then, on each anniversary, he’ll get another $200,000. Is he and Jessica make it to five years of marriage, he’ll get an additional $500,000 bonus - and a $1 million bonus is they make it to 10 years.”

Not that Eric is hurting for spending money while he waits to marry Jessica: “They already have a joint checking account,” adds the insider, “and Jessica also gave him his own high-limit Visa Black Card and an American Express Platinum card!”

I believe that Jessica already gave him credit cards, and access to one of her checking accounts, just like I believe that Eric is already on her payroll. I’ll also buy that Eric has agreed to sign a pre-nup, but I don’t believe these terms. There’s no way Jessica would be stingy with the current love of her life! And there’s no way Eric would settle for a paltry $200,000 yearly bonus, either. Two hundred thou is probably what Eric is charging just to put up with Jessica’s constant farting.

But seriously, why all this drama about the pre-nup? You know that as soon as Jessica pops out a baby, she’s going to get all lovey-dovey (and dumb) and tear up whatever pre-nup they have.

When she closed her eyes what did she see? A baby! Jessica Simpson has babies on the brain!

The 30-year-old told her Twitter followers this Sunday (March 13), "Dreamt that I had a son named Tenacious D... That was a strange one."

Simpson, who got engaged to former football player Eric Johnson in November, has never been shy about wanting to have children.

Will Jessica Simpson Be a Judge on the New 'X Factor?'

Jessica Simpson is reportedly at the top of Simon Cowell's list to take on one of the coveted judging positions on The X Factor when it launches later this year.

A source told People: "There [are] loads of conversations happening at the moment. No one has been offered a judging role yet as new names keep coming forward who want the role, but there are some frontrunners and it's fair to say Jessica is one of them. She's very keen.

"She knows what she is talking about [and] is talented and likable. But Simon's not in a rush to decide. The judges have to mentor on The X Factor -- it's more than just turning up for a few hours a week to appear on TV."

Jessica is not the only person in the frame for a role, it was revealed yesterday that record executive Tony Mottola -- ex-husband of Mariah Carey and former boss of Sony Music -- is also being considered.

An insider said: "Simon and Tommy have known each other for years since their days at Sony and Simon has wanted to get Tommy on board one of his shows for a long time.

"They get on extremely well and this could be the moment where they finally get on screen together. Tommy's from the Bronx in New York, he's tough talking, doesn't pull any punches and will make great TV."

Other people mentioned as possibilities include Nicole Scherzinger, Mariah Carey, and Cheryl Cole.

Speculation and rumors have been circulating for a while now regarding the new U.S. version of Simon Cowell’s “X Factor”. Paula Abdul’s name had been tossed around and now sources are telling People that Jessica Simpson in is a frontrunner for a coveted judge’s spot!

A source said: “There will definitely be a prenup. Jessica has said she wants one. Jessica and Eric have talked about it. Eric understands that there needs to be a prenup. He’s supportive of it.”

You can’t blame Jessica, given that she’s been divorced once and considering what she’s earning these days!

Jessica Simpson Reveals How Eric Johnson Proposed

Jessica Simpson is sharing details of how her fiance Eric Johnson popped the big question!

“I absolutely had no idea. He had talked to my mom and dad and my sister [Ashlee] three weeks before he asked me. He had the ring in his shoe at my house somewhere,” she says on The Morning Mash Up radio show, in an interview airing Thursday, December 2.

“I was like, why hide it in a shoe, but it worked. He got down on his knee and I had to sit down on it because I was so shocked,” she says.

Jess, 30, adds that it happened while she was watching Parenthood. “I was short of breath. It was definitely one of those moments where I’ve never felt that way before, ever … We met in my house it was amazing that he proposed to me in my house.”

“I can’t believe all the Simpsons kept a secret,” says Jess.
