Kate Hudson: 'I Have the Most Unconventional Family Ever'

Kate Hudson loves her "unconventional" family. She has a son with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and is expecting a child with her current boyfriend Matt Bellamy, and couldn't be happier.

Just the other day she hung out with Robinson, his new wife and child, along with their son Ryder and everyone was all smiles!

Kate had her own complicated upbringing with mom Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell, so she knows a thing or two about blended families. She said: "The most important thing for Ryder's life is love, happiness and honesty. I have the most unconventional family ever.

My mom Goldie Hawn was married twice, and then she met my dad (Kurt) who was married before. I've got a brother and half-brothers and sisters, and we all have the most wonderful relationships. My mom and dad are around a lot - we all live within seven blocks of each other. You can't go wrong if you're honest and your intention is to be happy."

As for her easy breezy appearance, Miss Kate Hudson recently chatted with OK! about not making a fuss over her looks.


She dished, "It's kind of nice because I don't like being made up, I feel like I'm a guy like that. I'm the kind of person who walks out of my house and doesn't even think about putting on make-up, unless I have a big old zit, then I'll try to cover it! Making the most of her time overseas, Kate Hudson was spotted out to dinner in London, England last night (January 26).

The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” actress looked beautiful in a furry grey coat as she hit up Zuma restaurant. Earlier in the evening she appeared on the “Graham Norton Show.”


As for her bun in the oven, Kate told Norton “I’m just starting to pop. We have a couple of names but we’re not telling anyone.”

She also divulged that she’s thinking pink this time around. “It feels like a girl, but I don’t know. Ryder (her 7-year-old son) thinks it’s a girl.”

For Kate Hudson, getting pregnant fit in perfectly with her life.

"Kate really wanted another baby," a source says, adding that the dad, rocker Matthew Bellamy, is "a great person to do that with. He's a very good person."

News that Bellamy got Kate Hudson pregnant by accident surfaced earlier this week. Despite the unexpected surprise, both are overjoyed she is expecting.

What makes the pair tick? Having fun, plus similar out looks on life.

"He loves Kate's carefree attitude," a source says, "[he] has a lot of fun with her."
Generally helps to have fun in a relationship rather than be miserable, it's true.

Hudson, 31, has a son, Ryder, 7, with ex-husband Chris Robinson. She has been dating Bellamy, 32, who fronts the band Muse, for about nine months.

Man with Rifle Arrested at Kate Hudson's House

Perhaps we aren't the only ones who feel we're owed a personal apology for Fool's Gold. TMZ reports an armed intruder was arrested at Kate Hudson's New York City home today.

A neighbor reportedly called 911 after seeing someone with what looked like a gun on Hudson's roof. When authorities arrived, they found two young men at the scene - one with an unloaded rifle and the other with a camera. Sources tell TMZ that the men claim they were shooting a movie in the neighborhood, which is close to NYU.

The men are currently being questioned by the cops. It is not known if Hudson was home at the time.
