Will Paula Abdul Reunite With Simon Cowell For "The X Factor" Panel On Fox?

Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul Will Posibly Reunite for "The X Factor"

Rumor has it, Simon Cowell and Island Def Jam Music Group Chairman, Antonio L.A. Reed will be joined by Paula Abdul in "The X Factor." Again?

In an interview with Deadline, Cowell tells Nikki Finke, "I always loved working with her (Paula) even though she can be a pain...I think there's a good chance it will be her, and now we're reaching the deadline we've got to make the decision soon. But I think she's got a really good shot"

Finkee adds English singer Sheryl Cole will also be an addition to the "cast." Her sources say  that the announcement for the complete panel of judges will be made next week.

SIMON'S REP: "NOTHING IS SET"
Following the published online interview on Deadline, Cowell's reps immediately denied the "sureness" of the report, by saying to THR that everything is still playing out. "Nothing is set, and Paula is one of many people Simon is talking to. He's said the same thing many times, including on the radio last week. There's nothing new"

Who is telling the truth? We'll find out soon.

Paula on The X Factor? Same old brand new personalities huh, we'll see how this Briton-made circus for American T.V. will fare out this fall.

Paula Abdul's "Live To Dance" Disappointment

Paula Abdul's "Live To Dance" Disappointment

Disappointed with the recent news, it is being reported that Paula Abdul is quite upset about not being asked back to “Live To Dance.”

Although no official announcement has been made, the word around the gossip mill is that CBS did not renew the “Opposites Attract” singer’s contract for a second season.

The reality show not only struggled to maintain ratings, it also received mixed reviews so ultimately the network decided not to invest in a second go.

“Paula kept hoping week after week that her show would pick up new viewers,” a source told Radar Online. “But each week the ratings trailed off. It ended with only a little more than 4 million viewers watching the final… way too few for CBS to keep Paula’s dream dance show alive.”

Paula Abdul Desperate To Get Her Job Back on American Idol

Paula Abdul

Dimewars :    Paula Abdul, is desperately needed back at her old job, and fans who, after seven years, have gotten used to her easy-going style of critique want to see her back on the show.

News of Paula Abdul fans requesting her return to the show reached the ears of the former pop singer/dancer and she almost blushed:

“I’m very grateful,” she said. “I have tremendous gratitude that people want to see me on television and that people miss me on Idol. That leaves me speechless. It really does. I’ll always be a fan of the show. I had an amazing time.

To be part of something from the very beginning that grew into such a worldwide phenomenon is really awe-inspiring. It’s going to go down in history. It’s always wonderful to be part of something that’s larger than you could have ever imagined. People grow with time and you can always expect change. I’m forever a fan of the show and I’ll always watch.”

Ouch! That sounds like an ex-girlfriend who wants to be nice about saying... it'll never happen again, buddy!

Paula Abdul Decides to Leave 'American Idol'

Paula Abdul Decides to Leave American Idol

Paula Abdul the well known American Idol Star decides to leave the show. Here's the interview with her by TV Guide Magazine.

"I don't think I can answer that right now," she says when asked if more money would get her back at the judges' table. "I stand on principle where many people stand on money. I'm a hard-working artist. I've lasted in this business for 23 years. And you can't do that unless you are good at what you do. I believe in myself and you have to have your own self respect. And sometimes decisions are very difficult to make, but I've always believed that at the core I'm a survivor. There's not one thing I've done that I've really set my mind to that I've failed at."

Abdul goes on to tell the magazine that she stays in touch with Simon Cowell, and that she is going to miss the experience of watching young talent grow on the show; someone like Kris Allen who was a dark horse, but went on to win.

"I feel like I have been such a big, huge part of the success of the show from day one," Abdul says of her time on "American Idol." "I loved being able to be the artist's artist; being there from my point of view of knowing what it feels like to be vulnerable and to be out there wanting to achieve the most magical moment in a minute and 30 seconds. To be able to do that was an amazing experience and the show was wonderful for me in that regard."

Sounds sad for her fans.
