Robert “Tractor” Traylor Found Dead

Former Michigan star and NBA player Robert “Tractor” Traylor was found dead in his apartment on Wednesday morning, according to the Bayamon Cowboys - the team with which Traylor was playing in Puerto Rico.

With his enormous frame and aggressive play in the paint, Traylor became a star at Michigan, but could never match that success on the professional level. His biggest claim to fame in the NBA was as the sixth overall pick whom the Dallas Mavericks traded on draft day for the rights to Dirk Nowitzki.
As of yet, no cause of death has been given. However weight issues followed Traylor throughout his basketball career.

In remembrance of Traylor, here is the 1995 McDonald’s All-American game in which he played alongside Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Vince Carter. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.
