Manila, Philippines.
Gandang Gabi Vice debuted tonight.
I am not a fan of his noon time show meaning i don't see Vice all the time on TV. I have an idea of how he does his antics, i was like thinking that his new program would be an extended "Showtime" show.
Well, you have just got a free front seat pass to a stand-up-comedy incorporated within a talk show. And it's wholesome, quite a feat because it's hard to make people laugh when you're not giving off green jokes.
I hate myself because i was caught off-guard. Boy, he's really funny - at some parts.
Some punchlines hit, while others missed. The talk-athon with Angeline who talks like Sarah and sings like Regine is a riot. However, Bea Alonzo's skit over the phone and the "debate" slash karaoke part grew a hectare of corn, Oops!. (if you know what i mean) Was that 'punked' when the show was about to end? I am not sure if that worked.
The concern is if how he'll be able to maintain the show's concept because in time, viewers will get tired of it. That'll be a "good" challenge for Vice comedic-prowess, but for now, let's enjoy his late-night fun!
