Marian Rivera Settles Rift With Cristy Fermin

Manila, Philippines.

Forgiveness is more than saying "sorry."
Last year, the ever-war goddess Cristy Fermin brought word-destruction to Marian Rivera and her boyfriend, Dingdong Dantes on her tabloid coloumns after Marianita allegedly snubbed the TV host inside the Bambi Fuentes salon.

Well, today it's a different story.
Ferminita has just announced that she and the "Amaya" actress are now in good terms.
The "rift" was settled the other day inside Bambi's salon, where it all began.

How do you mend a misunderstanding without asking for forgiveness?
Popoy Caritativo, Marian's manager has this to say, "Walang humingi ng tawad at walang nagpatawad. Nagkatinginan, nag-ngitian, nagkalinawan at nagkaayos. Ganun kasimple."
Marian reportedly made the first move as she hugged Fermin and said, "Nay, ayoko na."

What?! You know this is what you call a "shallow" settlement, where you don't deal with the real issue.
Time will come, they'll be enemies again because the root of the problem was not resolved.
But then again, it's their "pride-filled" life, if that's how they want it done, so be it.

Look at What Cristy Fermin Has Done with Mayor Patrick Meneses and Aiko Melendez' "Smear Campaign" Issue

Manila, Philippines.
The rift between former lovers,  Aiko Melendez and Patrick Meneses has now gone too far; while the whole nation is currently feasting on the issue, a libel case has been filed yesterday and soon will be heard in court.

Which leave us with the question, how did this showbiz "circus" start?

In his conversation with PEP, Mayor Patrick Meneses said that he was surprised when in the middle of TV5 Paparazzi's dialogue,  host Cristy Fermin showed him a Twitter transcript - an alleged direct message conversation between Aiko Melendez and his reporter friend.
The Mayor, who was held "hostage" in an uncomfortable TV interview that has been televised nationwide,  told Roldan Castro, "Nag-guest ako (in Paparazzi) para sabihing okey kami, We respect each other dahil hindi na rin naman siya (Aiko) nagsasalita kahit wala na kaming communication."

Meneses may interpret Fermin's act as something that was done to help him, but if you'll look closely - the good mayor's would-be responses was kind of "abused" too in the show, given that Patrick got enraged about what he saw, he was left with no choice but to answer and clear his name to Fermin's tabloid-like "unbecoming and vulgar" exposes.

Patrick further told Castro, "No wonder kaya pala ako gustong i-guestsabi niya (Fermin), Mayor, mag guest ka lang, please."

Say Cristy Fermin was true to his intentions to help the Mayor, she could have spoken to him in private and spare his "showbiz son" another shame and mockery from the viewing public.

If there's one person that was made to look bad out of the issue,  it was the alleged mastermind, Aiko Melendez.

She has made her decision to keep mum about the controversy since in the first place, the burden of proof lies in Meneses and Roque's camp.

On the other hand, Patrick has all the right in the world to sue anyone that will destroy his integrity and reputation. His "damage control" to save his image when he filed a case against Aiko Melendez is deemed understandable.

Whether or not the Mayor's allegations are true - it's the impartial court who'll decide if Melendez indeed fabricated malicious stories against his ex-boyfriend.

Circumstances have its own tricky way of getting people's lives miserable, it will spare no one -even actors and politicians.
One day you're sweethearts, you parted ways as friends...then comes one Sunday afternoon that you find out the "truth" in an interview and suddenly, in an instant, you became enemies with your ex - a special thanks to Cristy Fermin's unparalleled goodwill and utmost concern.

Patrick Meneses To Aiko Melendez' Alleged Masterminding A "Gay" Smear Campaign Against Him: "I'm In Awe"

In an interview with TV 5's Papparazi yesterday, Bulacan, Bulacan Mayor Patrick Meneses sat down with Cristy Fermin to clear out his "manhood" amidst tabloid blind items and rumors that question his sexuality - and he's considering legal actions to set the issues "straight"

Fermin, the witty host that she is, started to accelerate the interview by saying... "Mayor, kasi kakambiyo ako..." Okay- you see that is the key to make a good on-cam conversation running.

The issue? Meneses cries foul against his ex-girlfriend Aiko Melendez and an unnamed reporter who allegedly have concocted a dirty smear campaign against him. The "script" that was allegedly sent to other reporters has involved a story about gay hook-upgenital warts, medicine in cotton buds, and rubbing of those things to the politician's private part. GROSS

Aiko Melendez and Patrick Menses, former lovers.

Having obtained a copy of Melendez' alleged Twitter direct messages with her gay reporter friend, Fermin fired away her "vulgar" questions while the good mayor answered sincerely- playing angelic and a bit fierce at the same time. Well, he looks kind to me though.
When Cristy asked him how did he feel about the recent turn of events, Meneses replied, "Sa totoo po Nay, I'm in awe. Gulat na gulat po ako"
Patrick Meneses and actress Aiko Melendez parted ways last February 14, 2011 for reasons they did not make public.
Meanwhile, Aiko vehemently denied the accusations on her Twitter page by saying, "I will issue a statement in the coming days and will definitely clear my name...will fight this till the end with dignity."

Cristy Fermin: Is She Worth Your Hate?

Behind every hated t.v. personality is a fearless woman.
The now-on-leave Willie Revillame, who got bullied by some of the "middle class and the rich" with regard to the alleged March 12 "child abuse incident," is being defended by his lover showbiz ally, Cristy Fermin.

Cristinelli "Cristy" Fermin, the showbiz talk show host that some people have loved to hate, is not the official spokesperson of the masa-loved Revillame.
However, the Criminology graduate, turned-showbiz-reporter has placed herself on the front line of the word wars about the "Jan-jan brouhaha" where suddenly EVERYONE has become opinionated. Wow!

Comments After The Jump

Cristy has been hated before, now she's hated even more.
Who are these people that dislike her?

  • Some members of the LGBT Community despise Fermin for using non-friendly, below the belt tirades against one of their member. The showbiz talk show host has commented about a certain personality who attacks Revillame that she did not name. ( Some were saying it's the butch, Aiza Siguerra whom Cristy was referring to.) Alledgedly, she told "that person" on air that she has no right to comment about morality since "that person" is living an immoral life.

  • In a special interview aired on Revillame's program last March 12,  the 55-year-old showbiz host has asked, " Ikaw ba Jan-jan binastos ni Willie?" The question was aimed to the alleged media-"abused" kid who has become popular because of his "gyrating-while-crying" incident on TV 5's primetime variety show, Willing-willie. Jan-Jan Suan answered by shaking his head for a No, but then the whole nation is watching so it's a yes for another round of journalism-malpractice-is-she-out-of-her-mind tirades against Fermin."

The cycle does not end.
  • From her showbiz oriented program Juicy, Revillame's defender has again waken up her critics' itch. The "...Pag sila (Rico J. and Willie Revillame) nagdeliver para bang malaking karangalan mo pag mabastos ka." remark she said today spreaded like web-crabs on twitter-balls, even some have called Gabriella to take the "scratching" action for Fermin's " itchy statements."

History does not repeat itself because Fermin makes a different "you'd-surely-hate" remarks every time.
What i have mentioned here, it's beyond compare to the "horrific statements" that she have said in the past.

Now what? We all know that she's feisty, unbecoming, sometimes irrelevant, unmannered, and ruthlessly straight forward.
Did you hit the like button on her "We hate Cristy Fermin Facebook Page?" Would that be enough for you to harbor much disgust towards Cristy Fermin?

There's a proper court or forum to bring the case whether someone violates a person's right. But then again, we are a democratic country, we are free to express what we have been mean to say.

The truth is Fermin is now a part of our pop-culture, and she'll continue to do her antics and personality-what-it-ness, i mean, that's her, it's how she wants it done.
The ugly truth, her haters will be like hungry dogs waiting to bite her in the neck the next time she says something "news-worthy."

I am just wondering, is she worth your time and attention? Is Cristy Fermin worth your hate?
