Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had - Audio

After having a change of mind with her supposed-to-be 2nd single 1+1, Queen B -as promised- premiered her official second single titled, Best Thing I Never Had. According to Beyonce, R&B star, Babyface penned this track. This and her previous Run The World (Girls!) is off the album "4" due on June 28.

Sounds familiar? Because Bey sang this in the Idol Finale.

This is what a woman will hum if she wants her boy-toy to make love with her.
Because a single finger is boring,  Jay-Z's girlfriend performs a simple addition, one plus one equals two - i don't know if she's referring to the "two fingers" used for, you know. :P
Ha?! You just made an anthem for your Girls B! very sexy! 

This is a stark contrast to her first single: 1+1 is pure, gentle, and hot vocals while Run The World (Girls!) is heavy African-rhythm-ed sound matched with angst-filled singing.

Wow! Queen Bey and her girls ruled the night. That Run The World (Girls!) number really dropped every viewer's jaw, i'm telling you. She truly deserves the "Millennium Award"

Beyonce is a fierce dancer and she's serious about running the world!

This is obviously a dance video. It's supposed to be grand, with all that hype that has been publicized, but it kind of lacked something, the "climax" or excitement factor, i guess.

I was rooting for more violence but it never happened, instead they rallied in-front of the "desert" police with their exotic strut routines.

Beyonce is soon coming in her trademark gold bizarre shoes!

The black diva has just released her teaser trailer for her new single, Run The World (Girls!)

The video looks quite promising: shots of Bey in different costumes while she and her guerrilla girls will try to overtake the government.

Girls! is the first track off her 4th studio album which will be released later this year. 

Since it debuted on I-Tunes, the song never made it to the Top 10 of The Hot 100. Run The World (Girls!) is currently at no 48 on the Billboard Charts.

And the R&B superstar is on the Balcony of The Ritz Hotel in Paris, flaunting her god-given underarm that sweats millions of dollars for the paparazzi to see. (Okay, it's an outdoor shoot - my bad)

Seriously, I have to blink my eyes like five times to make sure that this is not Rihanna, thanks god, after tuning my dilated pupil, the voluptous diva, Beyonce, emerged. (blame it on her thick eyeliner)

Now that her first single, "Girl" will be coming out in a few days, Beyonce has been doing some serious work.  I have read she flew in 200 hundred African dancers to Mojave Desert for her video shoot, add to that the 8 choreographers that have been tapped to formulate the moves that she's going to strut. 

From the photo below, it seems Beyonce is gearing up to rule the charts  world. 

Watch out for some tough competition, Lady Gaga.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are really into giving each other over the top gifts to celebrate anniversaries, holidays, birthdays and the like. For Christmas last year, Jay-Z gave Beyonce $350,000 in designer purses. And Beyonce spent $2 million on buying Jay-Z a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport car for his birthday.

So it’s no surprise that for their third year wedding anniversary, Jay-Z surprised his wife with a quick but romantic trip to the Bahamas. He had staff fill their villa with her favorite white flowers, he made sure there was cold champagne waiting and they celebrated with several romantic seafood dinners on the beach.

Beyonce is preparing for the release of her fourth album though, so she couldn’t stay long.

I’d say Beyonce’s dad did his job while he worked as his daughter’s manager. Now, thanks in part to him, she’s one of the one-namers. However, Beyonce is ending her working relationship with him.

“I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother manage me and own their own businesses. They are hard working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.

“He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me.”

Matthew Knowles also released a statement saying,

“The decision for Beyonce and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment.

“Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and I am very proud of who she is and all she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.”

I have to wonder if this decision has anything to do with the concert Beyonce was hired to perform for Gaddafi. She seemed pretty upset about that money and even said of her father,

“Ultimately, Matthew Knowles should be accountable for that decision, and I do accept responsibility.”

Hmmm, do you believe that Beyonce and Matthew parted working ways mutually?

Last year, just after New Year’s, there was a big controversy about Beyonce and other musical celebrities being paid buckets of money to perform in St. Barts at a party thrown by Hannibal Qaddafi, the son of Muammar Qaddafi. Bey was allegedly paid $1 million to perform (at least), and she got the brunt of the criticism in the media - I think because she was the “headliner” of the event. Anyway, in the wake of the ongoing Libyan crisis, celeb-watchers have revisited the controversy and Beyonce has finally answered: she gave the million dollars to The Clinton Foundation.

Beyonce’s hands are clean. After a recent RollingStone.com article urged the 29-year-old “Halo” singer to return the money she was paid to perform for family members of Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi in 2009, Beyonce’s rep tells UsMagazine.com that the matter has been resolved.

“All monies paid to Beyonce for her performance at a private party at Nikki Beach St. Barts on New Year’s Eve 2009, including the commissions paid to her booking agency, were donated to the earthquake relief efforts for Haiti over a year ago,” her publicist tells Us.
“Once it became known that the third party promoter was linked to the Qaddafi family, the decision was made to put that payment to a good cause.”

Fellow singer Mariah Carey, 40, received $1 million for a lavish New Year’s Eve bash in St. Barts, where she performed for Qaddafi’s son, Muatassim, Libya’s national security adviser. Usher, 32, also earned an undisclosed amount for performing on the same Caribbean island.

So… Beyonce did not spend a terrorist’s money on weaves and diamond booty cream, fyi. But here’s the part that bothers me: “Once it became known that the third party promoter was linked to the Qaddafi family…” Um, NO. It was pretty obvious that it wasn’t an occasion where there was merely some tenuous connection to the Qaddafi family.

This was a party HOSTED by the Qaddafi family. At the time, Beyonce was criticized in particular for her connection to Hannibal (who may also be known as Muatassim, I‘m not really sure about that reference) not because of terrorism, but because he has a history with violence against women, especially his own wife.

Sandra Bullock's 2010 awards season was one for the books: She cleaned with a Golden Globe, SAG, and BAFTA for her role in The Blind Side, then took home the Oscar (just days after winning a Razzie for Worst Actress for her All About Steve part). It was epic. Her then-husband Jesse James cried when her name was called, then we all wanted to cry for her again when it was revealed weeks later that he'd been having an affair with a whole lot of tattoo models.

Beyonce was asked to perform during the 2005 Academy Awards. She performed three songs at the show, including a duet with Josh Groban, and was generally well-received -- except some people claimed she butchered the French language during her performance of "Vois Sur ton Chemin." Yikes.

Jamie Foxx was so excited to win the Best Actor prize for Ray in 2005 that he got onstage and kissed presenter Charlize Theron! He brought his daughter Corinne as his Oscar date and said when he got to the podium (while on the verge of tears): "I want to thank my daughter, who said to me before I got up here, 'Dad, if you don't win tonight, you're still good.'" Aww!

5. Reese Witherspoon (2006)

Reese Witherspoon went from playing a ditzy sorority girl in Legally Blonde to playing Johnny Cash's wife in Walk the Line, a role that earned her the Best Actress Academy Award. She gave an emotional acceptance speech, thanking her kids ("who should be going to bed") and quoted June. She said at the end of her speech: "People used to ask June how -- how she was doin'. And she used to say, 'I'm just tryin' to matter.' And, I know what she means, you know. I'm just trying to matter and live a good life and make work that means something to somebody."
